Experience
Jay Henderkott has been designing since 1990 and has obtained considerable knowledge working at several other companies in the building business. Furthermore, he has received a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Technology from the University of Northern Iowa & a Certificate in Construction.
Complete Plans
Jay provides detailed floor plans, total section details, and elevations. Codes for residential construction are checked, notes for structural locations are added and beams and headers are sized for loading. In the end, the builders and suppliers have everything they need to do their job efficiently.
Professionalism
By law, any individual can design a home, but most officials will require a professional plan. As a professional designer, I've joined many professional organizations such as AIBD (a national organization of building professionals that must meet certain criteria to join.)
